The DiMarzio DP820 D Activator 8 Bridge represents the ideal solution for any 8-string electric guitar player who demands a wide frequency response, high level of articulation, and uncompromising dynamics from their instrument. This high-quality component is designed to eliminate any trace of "muddiness" in the sound, ensuring your riffs remain tight and articulate even in the lowest registers.

The core sound of this bridge pickup is defined by large and percussive low notes that give your playing the necessary edge. The high frequencies are voiced to provide plenty of cut and punch, yet they remain pleasant and are never harsh or piercing. With a ceramic magnet and 11.48 kOhm resistance, the D Activator 8 is a powerful tool that delivers exactly the response a modern 8-string guitar needs for maximum tonal definition in the bridge position.

If you are planning a full electronics upgrade while installing this pickup, you can find high-quality guitar potentiometers and a guitar jack in our shop. For maximum noise reduction, we recommend lining the pickup cavity with copper or aluminum tape. Also, don't forget that a clean tone is always defined by the right guitar strings.
