Alder (Alnus spp.) is a tonewood native to Europe and North America, widely used in electric guitar body construction for decades due to its excellent acoustic properties. It is medium-weight, with a fine, moderately porous structure and a very balanced tonal character.

The wood has a smooth and uniform appearance, with subtle grain patterns, and ranges in color from pale to slightly reddish brown. Tonally, it offers a balanced midrange, pleasant highs, and solid but not overwhelming lows. Alder is known for its natural resonance and quick dynamic response.

Each piece features its own grain and tonal personality. The wood is kiln-dried and ready to use for guitar building.
