[Gotoh GBU510C-12 – Bass tuning machine Treble side, 17mm Chrome]
Gotoh GBU510C-12 is a high-precision tuning machine for bass guitar with a high gear ratio, designed for professional use, repairs, and demanding instrument upgrades. It features the classic clover-style key and delivers extremely smooth operation with no backlash.
The tuner uses a 12 mm string post and is designed for headstock holes with a diameter of approximately 17.5 mm, which is a standard size on many modern bass guitars. On the front side, it is secured with a 17 mm bushing/nut, ensuring a firm and stable fit in the headstock without unwanted vibrations.
The high 1:20 gear ratio allows for very fine and accurate tuning. The chrome finish protects the tuner from wear and corrosion while providing a classic, universal look suitable for most bass guitars.
The weight of a single tuner is optimized so it does not overload the headstock and helps maintain a balanced ratio between stability and overall instrument weight.
