The Gotoh GE-101ATC is an aluminium stop bar tailpiece designed for electric guitars equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge, commonly used on Gibson®, Epiphone® and compatible guitar models. It anchors the string ends and routes them over the tune-o-matic bridge, forming the classic setup found on countless guitar designs.

This tailpiece is cast from lightweight aluminium, offering improved resonance, faster response and longer sustain compared to traditional zinc stop bars. The reduced mass contributes to a more open tonal character and enhanced playing dynamics.

The GE-101ATC is approximately 50 g lighter than standard zinc stop bars and features a durable chrome finish that provides corrosion resistance and a clean, long-lasting appearance.

It uses M8 x 1.25 metric threads with 82 mm (3-1/4") post spacing and is supplied complete with mounting studs and bushings. Manufactured in Japan, it meets Gotoh’s strict quality control standards.
