Swamp Ash (Fraxinus americana) comes from the swampy regions of the southern United States. This wood is lightweight, porous, and very musical – ideal for crafting electric guitar and bass bodies.

It is known for its excellent resonance, quick attack, clear highs, tight lows, and warm tonal balance. The wood has an open pore structure and a light creamy color with a striking grain pattern. Each piece has its own unique character.

The wood is kiln-dried and ready to use.
