The DiMarzio DP255F Transition Bridge is a special pickup designed in close collaboration with virtuoso Steve Lukather for his Music Man LIII signature guitar model. This high-quality component for 6-string electric guitars is named after Lukather’s Transition album, where these pickups were used throughout the entire recording process. The pickup delivers a detailed, high-output sound with a rich bass response, engineered to accurately reflect the technique and dynamics of any professional guitarist.

The bridge pickup features a strong ceramic magnet and specifically tuned coils that deliver an exceptionally rich tone and excellent response. While its output is not as extreme as some dedicated high-output pickups, it offers maximum articulation for every played note. The F-Spaced version, with its specific pole spacing, ensures optimal string alignment for instruments equipped with tremolo systems.
